The O.D. of a nominal 4” schedule 40 PVC pipe is 4-1/2″. 70173T hanger clamps will not work with standard sized PVC pipes. The O.D. of a nominal 2-1/2”schedule 40 PVC pipe is 2-7/8”and exceeds the maximum OD limit of the product.
